Is your Invention Protected?

There are new inventions created every day, and it is possible some people may even have an  invention as yours.  Since the America Invents Act became law in March 16, 2013, the U.S. patent laws changed from a first-to-invent system, to a first-to-file system.  This means time may be of-the-essence with protecting your idea, so do not wait!

A patent has significant advantages, so filing early is critical

You have at least a 15 or 20-year monopoly to prevent theft of your invention

Damages that may include a royalty, recovery of your profits, and the infringer’s profits

It is easier to commercialize your invention through licensing, assignment, etc.
